Imagine An Answer to Kids' Brain Cancer...
Imagine An Answer (IAA) is focused on promoting research and awareness to find a cure for Pediatric Low-Grade Astrocytoma (PLGA), a slow growing children's brain cancer that impacts more than 20,000 kids across the United States. The organization was founded by J.D. and Mary Derderian, who have come to know a great deal about this awful disease caring for their son, Clay who was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 3.
Further research on PLGA is desperately needed, as the treatments for children with PLGA brain tumors are invasive, highly toxic, and have devastating side effects and late-term effects that diminish the child's quality of life. The annual Monster Mash Pumpkin Bash is IAA's signature event, and through this annual event, IAA has funded more than half a million dollars of esearch on PLGA brain cancer. Your support will allow us to expand research opportunities to find a cure for this terrible cancer.
